Since Add's birthday was during the last week of school we decided to have a birthday breakfast instead of doing something after school. I was thinking it would be too hectic for the other kids.
We invited a few of her friends to breakfast at our house.
Add asked for Provo bakery donuts (our fav), sausage, bacon, fruit and pink lemonade.
Easy Peasy.
(I found the cute straws at Pebbles in my Pocket and the flag toothpicks at Xpedx)
After everyone ate we opened gifts. She received so many nice things.
She squealed with delight numerous times.
After a few quick games we made bracelets out of beads and elastic. Then it was over.
I loved having the breakfast, it was really fun and done by 10:30 AM.
After the party, we cleaned up and took Kade to school.
We missed the bus and couldn't figure out why the driver came so early.
We took Add to lunch at P712 and to Toys R Us to spend birthday money that came in the mail.
Then we went to pick Kade up at school and realized it was early out day. CRAP!
No wonder the bus driver came early.
I am not usually home on Wednesdays, so Early Out totally slipped my mind.
We took Kade and Add up to the Children's Museum in SLC after school.
I really love that place. It has lots of fun things to do and the kids love it too.
(Rach, we used lots of hand sanitizer :) )
By the time we got home it was time for bed.
I can't believe my baby is FIVE
and tomorrow is the last day of school!
